Parenting is most definitely not an easy task, and it’s even tougher if one of the partners doesn’t hold their end of the deal.
A new mom was baffled when her husband told her that he would be going on a guys’ trip for five days, so she decided to ask Reddit for advice. As it turns out, the hubby told her that she would leave her and their weeks-old baby for almost a week, so she was wondering if she should just let him go, or insist that he stay and help out with the newborn. Well, it’s safe to say that Reddit had a firm opinion on it.
Although it’s a delicate situation, most of Reddit seems to agree that the woman is not the a-hole here, and her husband should re-evaluate his priorities and stop being so dependant on his mom.
