Although we all want to raise our kids to be decent human beings, some parents take the lessons they try to teach their kids very seriously. There’s a fine line between a valuable lesson and a harsh punishment that will only do more harm than good, however. Parenting is most certainly not an easy task, especially when you see that your kids are not absorbing on the lessons you’re trying to impact.
One mom recently decided to take it to Reddit to ask for advice on whether her parenting lessons make her a bad parent. She said that she has tried to teach her daughters, aged 16 and 14, to respect everyone regardless of their social standing. Her youngest one, however, hasn’t exactly absorbed the lessons the way the mom had hoped, so she implemented a quick action.

Even though the lesson was tough for the 14-year-old girl, many people agreed that it was a prime example of perfect parenting and applauded the single mom for taking the step and teaching her daughter a valuable lesson!
