They say that true friends are like diamonds, and every good friend would help their buddy when in need. However, it’s also very important to know when enough is enough, and that’s why this story that was shared on Reddit’s ‘Am I The A-hole’ sub gained so much popularity.

We often come at a point when refusing to help our friend would make us look like the bad guy, but if we continue to help them, they’ll just further take advantage of our help.
This Reddit user found themselves in such a situation, and she asked the AITA community if she’s in the wrong here.

Namely, Redditor u/Lillian3435543 shared that she has a husband who has a very good friend named Dale. Their friend recently lost his wife to cancer, so they’ve been helping him out during these tough times. So, Lillian started including Dale in the meals she cooks so he has one less thing to worry about.

However, things started to take the wrong turn when Dale became very demanding with her help, and it all exploded when he invited friends for dinner and even got mad that she didn’t receive the message. Lillian decided that enough was enough, and you can check the rest of the story for yourself below.
