An image of an optical illusion has gone viral after leaving thousands of people confused. Namely, the initial photo of the ‘mermaid’ was first shared on social media with a caption that right-brained people see a fish, while left-brained people see a mermaid.
Some people, however, saw totally different animals that didn’t resemble neither a fish nor a mermaid.

Many celebrities added their own opinions, and most people stated that they see a ‘donkey’. Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling wrote that she saw a ‘donkey’, while Hart Hanson added that it’s a ‘donkey wearing eyeliner’.
However, most people agreed that the illustration was more donkey/seal than fish/mermaid.

And while it remains unclear whether the illusion can really determine which side of your brain is more dominant, it sure left people puzzled. What do you see? Do you think it’s a fish/mermaid, or you’re jumping on the donkey/horse/seal bandwagon like myself?
