One woman decided to take it to Reddit and share how her boyfriend asked her to pay half of his mortgage after they decided to move in together.
The woman took it to Reddit’s Am I The A-hole sub and shared that she’s 22 and she and her boyfriend have been together for a year and a half.
So, they decided to move in together in his house that he had bought just before they began dating.
She explained that her boyfriend is a doctor and she’s a social media manager, and when he told her how much he makes, it was as much as she expected.
However, when she told him how much she makes, he laughed and said that she’s supposed to tell him how much she makes per month, not per year. However, when she told him that it’s per month, he was shocked to learn that she earns around 150 percent of his salary. So, he demanded her to pay for half of his mortgage, which she refused.
