A 21-year-old UK woman decided to take it to Reddit to complain about a sticky situation her step-dad had put her in. The woman wrote that she moved back into her mother and step-dad’s house during the lockdown in the UK after both of them lost their jobs and needed financial support. However, while she was staying there, there were multiple issues with privacy, which made her want to move out despite providing the financial help they desperately needed.
Reddit user u/PitifulWindow8 decided to take it to Reddit’s popular ‘Am I The A-hole’ subreddit to ask if she was the a-hole in the situation.
Reddit made a clear decision: She’s most definitely not the a-hole here! The only a-hole in the situation is the step dad, and she has every right to leave them and not pay rent!
