You’ve probably been through one of those times when you’ve had to work too hard or too much that you decide to treat yourself by buying something nice for you.
However, not everyone feels the same, and some people will judge you for your choices. As much as I don’t like someone judging me about my own choices, especially for what I decide to do with my own hard-earned money, one woman (probably) had it worse. Namely, Reddit user u/Burnedout2377 recently shared that she had started a well-paid job in finance, and she’s been working for 16-17 hours a day. So, when she finally laid a bonus, she literally cried while watching the money at her bank account. So, she decided to buy a nice dress for her. However, her boyfriend went through her phone, and when he saw how much money she spent on the dress, he got extremely angry at her, as he couldn’t believe how much money she spent on one thing.
So, the woman decided to take it to the Am I The A-hole subreddit to ask if she was in the wrong for doing that, and Reddit had a lot to say about it. Check out the story below, and decide who is in the wrong here.
Expectedly, the majority of Reddit voted that she’s not in the wrong here – not in the slightest. In fact, many people suggested she dumps her boyfriend, or at least confront him for going through her balance. But what do you think? Did she do anything wrong?
