Beauty standards and expectations have been changed a lot over the past few years, and many companies have joined the efforts to break the classic ideal of beauty.

One such company is Benefit Cosmetics, and they chose Kate Grant, a girl with Down Syndrome to be one of the faces of their marketing campaign for the new Roller Liner.

The company is known for its bestselling Hoola Bronzer, the Porefessional Primer and They’re Real! Mascara. They are now trying to make the beauty industry more inclusive, and that’s why they hired the 20-year-old beauty from Ireland.
Grant had a dream to become the first professionally employed model with Down Syndrome, and her dream finally came true.

Grant has done some modeling in the past, and she won the crown at the Teen Ultimate Beauty of the World pageant in her home country.

She appeared on the TV show “This Morning” after the news of her win broke out, and she said in the interview that she hoped to use her platform as a budding model to help others.
She admitted that she was in shock after her historic win, and it was a turning point in her life.
The company instantly fell in love with the model, and they stated that her energy is infectious, and her incredible zest for life embodied the vision of the brand.

After she was chosen as one of the new faces of the brand, Grant can be seen in many promotional materials and Instagram posts in which she promotes their new line-up roller liner eyeliner products.

According to the company, the beauty industry is changing, and people like Grant are leading the way. They claim that they intend to work with her on other campaigns as well, and the original Instagram post featuring her as the brand ambassador inspired thousands of people and it received numerous supportive and positive comments.
