Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene Puts Sign Saying ‘There Are TWO Genders’ After Being Trolled With Trans Flag

After Representaive Marie Newman, who has a trans daughter, decided to put up a trans pride flag outside her office, Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene put up a sign outside her office proclaiming ‘there are TWO genders’.

Rep. Newman tweeted that their neighbor, Marjorie Taylor Greene, tried to block the Equality Act because she believes that prohibiting discrimintation against trans Americans is ‘disgusting, immoral, and evil’.
She also added in her tweet that she thought they’d put up their Trans flag so she can look at it every time she opens her door.

Greene responded to her Tweet with a video she posted on her congressional Twitter.
This is what she wrote in her tweet:
‘Our neighbor, [Marie Newman], wants to pass the so-called ‘Equality’ Act to destroy women’s rights and religious freedoms. Thought we’d put up ours so she can look at it every time she opens her door.’

In the video alongside the tweet, we can see Greene putting up a large sign outside her door reading ‘There are TWO genders: MALE & FEMALE ‘Trust the Science!’.

The dispute began after Greene, who was previously removed from her two committee assignments after she espoused QAnon conspiracies before she was elected to Congress, moved to adjourn the HOuse session so members could ‘rethink’ the Equality Act.

The equality act was co-sponsored by Newman.

Greene said that the legislation would ‘put trans rights above women’s rights and above the rights of ‘our daughters, our sisters, our friends, our grandmothers, our aunts. It’s too much’.
Newman, on the other hand, wrote that millions of Americans like her daughter can be denied housing, education, and more without the Equality Act, simply because they identify as trans.
She continued by saying that she’s voting to pass the Equality Act for her daughter – the strongest, bravest person she knows.
