There’s one huge problem when debating abortion legislation, and when you think about it, it’s mind-boggling.
You see, we often say that it’s the termination of an unwanted pregnancy. The thing is, though, that sometimes a pregnancy that ends in abortion was very much wanted.
The thing is that abortion is defined as ‘the termination of a pregnancy after, accompanied by, or closely followed by the loss of the embryo or fetus’.
