A brand new hotel in Majorca has a “no men allowed” policy and is catering exclusively to women.

The Som Dona Hotel in Porto Cristo, Majorca, is only open to guests who are women and are aged 14 and over.

The 39-room hotel has a strict “no men allowed” policy and is looking to become a “new space for women who are looking to disconnect from the stress of daily life”. Unsurprisingly, there’s ample opportunity for guests to unwind.

The hotel features a beach-style pool with spacious Bali-beds for total poolside relaxation, a wellness center, and a bar/restaurant serving up some local fare.

Other highlights of the hotel include a rooftop terrace, a spacious lounge, and even a library. On, there’s also free Wi-Fi for guests who want to share their girls-trips on social media.

The rooms include large beds, ensuite bathrooms, contemporary design, and sleek furniture.

Guests will have access to “four-star service specifically designed for women’s needs” throughout their stay, and the hotel offers a wide array of excursions so you can explore the best of Majora. It’s also located on the east coast and is close to plenty of Majorca’s best beaches, as well as the fascinating subterranean Caves of Drach.

It’s important to note, however, that even though the hotel will be staffed predominantly by women, it may have some male staff members to keep in line with the Spanish gender-discrimination laws.
Rooms start from $85 a night, and you can find out more on the official Som Dona website.
